When a visitor loads an image from your webpage, the waiting can be quite tedious. One solution is provided by HTML. Before loading your main, high quality image, the browser loads another image you provide first. This image is a highly compressed picture that, as a result, is usually of low quality. This image is loaded quickly by the browser and gives the user an idea of the images to come, so hopefully they will stick around. Your high quality image is loaded over the top of your low quality image after all of the LOWSRC images have been loaded. The result is that a visitor is less likely to feel frustrated about not being able to see content related images. The Insert Image Wizard and BandWidth Buster can automatically generate the LOWSRC files for you.
Start the Insert Image Wizard.
Install the Bandwidth Buster SuperTool.
